Mr. Paresh Haribhakti has over two decades of experience in the field of metallography and microstructure examination and has solved more than 3000 industrial problems. He is pioneer in promoting in situ-metallography.

Has intensive work experience to his credentials, solved materials engineering problems and performed failure analysis on components from petrochemical plants, oil and gas transmission pipelines, offshore structures, ships, pharmaceutical plants, food processing equipment, gas turbine engine components, and weldments.

Served as a principal team member in conducting the study on high temperature electrochemistry of stainless steel for thermo nuclear reactors, a project led by France along with 8 countries consortium. His command and grasp of complex engineering theory, turns into easy to understand and useable concepts to technical audience, with simple analogies, every day examples, and laymen terms to explain data and findings to clients, corporate executives, government officials or attorneys

He has specific experience in welding, heat treating and materials technology for oil & gas drilling and production applications, including production tubing, casing and down hole motor failures.

He is skilled in the use and application of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in support of failure analysis and fracture identification

His research oriented creativeness, spearheaded the development of a powerful image analysis software - Microstructure Characterizer Software (MiC). He has also developed a well-respected Chemical Composition Mapping method for identification of Dilution in Weld Zone

Dr. S. R. Singh has done his Ph.D., from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1980. He has more than 43 years of Research & Development experience in the area of phase transformation, electron microscopy, deformation behaviour, alloy development, nanocrystalline functional materials and failure analysis & remaining life assessment / life extension of engineering components. He served CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur during 1981-2011, in various capacities from Scientist B to Scientist G & Head of Materials Science & Technology Division. After superannuation, he worked at CSIR-NML as Technical & Business Development Consultant during 2011-2013. Since 2013, he is Vising Professor at School of Materials Science & Technology, IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He has also worked as a Post-doctoral fellow at Northwestern University, Evanston, USA; Visiting Scientist in Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA; and Consultant at University of Virginia, Charllotesville, USA. He is also associated with the professional bodies as life member of Materials Research Society of India, and Electron Microscope Society of India as well as member of Indian Institute of Metals. He has been an expert member of about 16 national & international committees / study team constituted by various organisations. He has also been actively engaged in development of advanced & functional material, i.e., shape memory alloy, damping alloy, nano-materials, various types of steels, irradiation resistant material by nano-coating, titanium aluminides, high temperature oxidation resistant coating and rejuvenation technology for hot gas path components of gas turbines & aeroengines. He has lead number of mission mode projects of national importance in these areas. He has published 65 research papers in international journals and one book entitled "Failure Analysis". He also holds two patents and more than 130 confidential investigation reports of failure analysis of engineering components.

Mr. Hemant Pradhan is a Mechanical Engineer with over 34 years of experience in design, detail engineering services, projects, inspection, mechanical construction, procurement, estimation etc. for fertilizer and petrochemical plants and projects.

His major experience field has been design, detailed engineering, trouble shooting of fertilizer plants like ammonia, urea, DAP, ASP, AS, phosphoric acid, sulphuric acid etc.; petrochemical plants like Caprolactam, Melamine, Nylon-6, and utility/co-generation/ boiler, water treatment plants. He is also involved in engineering jobs for installing new projects, de-bottlenecking, capacity augmentation, plant modifications, addition of new sections; trouble shooting; estimation; procurement; inspection; expediting for more than 30 years.

He has participated in design conferences at international and national level with process licensors/ detail engineering firms like M/s Enco, Switzerland; M/s INCRO SA, Spain; Tunisian Joint Venture, Tunisia; M/s Schmidt & Clemens, Germany M/s Davy Powergas, M/s Uhde, M/s Linde, at India.

He has an extensive knowledge of vacuum Technology and has worked as scientific officer at Department of science and technology sponsored research centre. He has hands on experience of operation and calibration of various sophisticated analytical instruments such as Transmission Electron Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope with EDS, X Ray Diffraction, ICP OES, spectrometers, Thermal Analyzers such as DSC, TGA. He has experience of various advanced methods of material characterization and has worked extensively in the field of microscopy.

He has been trained for operation of Electron microscope at PHILLIPS, The Netherlands and Pemtron, Korea. In fact he has handled India’s First Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope with EDAX analyser for more than five years. He has been handling the scanning electron microscopy analysis work He is qualified as NDT level II in M.T., P.T., U.T. and E.T. He is responsible for the establishing & implementing management system at TCR Advanced and its functionality. He is actively involved in establishing new testing facilities at lab as well as on site. He has played an instrumental role in establishing custom designed web based sample management system for handling sample flow in the laboratory

A doyen on inspection in refineries, Mr. Narendra Pandey has demonstrated his acumen by solving out the most complicated problems on several occasions in his career. Of course, with his in-depth knowledge in this field, a proven track record, hands on practical approach combining with his vast experience, is ever admired by the inspection fraternity. His initiative and articulate leadership has always resulted in customer delight. He has given a new dimension in inspection strategy in projects as well.

His panoramic views and insight for various inspection activities has been recognised by national/international bodies like NACE, ISNT etc. A group leader in implementing RBI (Risk Based Inspection) in refineries with a modified strategy so as to get the best without disturbing the existing system. Shri. Pandey headed the inspection department from 1997 onwards in various grades. Worked in 3 refineries of Indian Oil and a full-time advisor to BORL also. His way of handling failures with positive recommendations is par excellence.

He has handled Turn key projects related to Foundry Mechanization, Quality Assurance and Product management of critical castings for turbine, material handling and wear resistance applications. Some of them are first of its kind. For last 12 years running an independent consultancy, related to TQM-Product Management of Castings & Forgings and metallurgical related turnkey projects. He has more than 25 years of experience in corrosion evaluation, materials selection, failure investigation and online corrosion monitoring in chemical, petrochemical and fertilizer industries. He possesses in-depth knowledge on various forms of corrosion. His is having vast experience in conducting laboratory and field experiments on corrosion measurements as per national and international standards. He has been a member of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) USA, for 8 years. He has provided consultancy services to many industries in India and also successfully carried out international collaborative projects with M/s Avesta, Sweden, M/s Krupp VDM Germany and M/s Cormon UK.

His career path has been wide including Electrical Engineer with the Indian Navy & Scindia Steam Navigation.

30 years of Experience in ABB within the switchgear industry and in education – specifically as FOUNDER, CREATOR, MENTOR & HEAD VICE PRESIDENT of Training and Customer Support – led to his FIRST creation of a training centre for Power Technologies, India. 1990 – 2008

He has worked for Areva/Alstom /GE since 2009 -2017 again focussing on the creation of training centres at Chennai Padappai and also at Vadodara.
